Prism® Foundation Improvement System
The Prism System is typically used for the construction of embankments, bridge approach fills, causeways, levees and dikes over soft ground. It consists of a composite soil and geogrid structure, which creates an expedient, reliable, cost-effective embankment foundation similar to a concrete raft foundation.
Dimension® Foundation Improvement System
The Dimension System is used for foundation improvement underneath buildings and is an alternative to deep overexcavation, concrete slabs, chemical stabilization/cement grouting and deep foundations. This engineered composite mattress, composed of aggregate fill and geogrid, is placed beneath building footings to resist differential settlement of footings bearing on compressible foundation soils. As such, it functions like a concrete raft foundation without concrete's time and expense.
Geopier® Rammed Aggregate Piers™
For engineers, architects, owners, developers, contractors and state agencies, Geopier Rammed Aggregate Piers offer a reliable method for building on soft soils – and a cost-effective alternative to traditional deep foundations. Geopier Rammed Aggregate Piers were originally developed for the support of shallow foundations as an alternative to costly massive overexcavation and recompaction. Over the past decade, Rammed Aggregate Piers have most often been used as a replacement for costly deep foundations (driven piles and drilled piers). |
